CHECKBOOK ANYWHERE® PRIVACY STATEMENT

Financial Information: Financial information collected at CheckbookAnywhere is never distributed under any circumstances to any party other than the owner of the particular CheckbookAnywhere account being accessed. Customer service representatives, nor any member of the CheckbookAnywhere staff, has access to any accounts set up by users, unless specifically requested to do so by the owner of the particular CheckbookAnywhere account.

All information in the CheckbookAnywhere databases is secured using more than three levels of protection. First, the connection is secured via 128-bit SSL, a robust, standard security system which encrypts all information sent between your computer and our servers. Second, all account information and personal information in our databases is encrypted with multiple keys. This means that not only is the data sent to you encrypted, the data is in effect being encrypted twice! We cannot read your financial account information, and any unauthorized employee attempting to access our databases is immediately terminated. Third, every transaction you make on the CheckbookAnywhere system, from entering checks to running reports, is authenticated.

Security is our number one objective. We feel safe using our system, because we use it every day. We want you to feel safe as well. Remember to always keep your password difficult. We do understand hackers do exist. In response to this, if your password is entered wrong too many times, you are notified of the possible hack attempt via email. Also, the IP Address (unique identifier of the computer trying to log-in) is also stored with a special delimiter telling us there was a possible breach attempt. All attempts to log-in under any account are logged, as are logoffs. If you believe someone is trying to use your account, please contact a customer service representative immediately and our security team will take the appropriate measures. If someone is attempting to use your identity, all legal measures will be taken to pursue the possible offender, and we will surrender any documentation authorities need to prosecute a perpetrator to the fullest extent of the law.

Customer Information: Information is collected at the time of a sale in order to complete the sale and deliver the products. Customer lists are not not sold or distributed to third parties. CheckbookAnywhere does not use customer lists to send solicitations (except for renewal notices for continuing services such as domain registrations, e-mail, or web page services, or important CheckbookAnywhere-related notices such as updates, security concerns, etc.).

Credit Card Transactions: Credit card transactions are processed by Skipjack, Inc. (http://www.skipjack.com). A professional payment authorization service was chosen for added security and reliability. Only the purchase price and the credit card information provided by the customer is supplied to Skipjack. Information collected during transactions is maintained in their database for accounting and billing purposes. Information from these transactions is not released to third parties.

Web Site Log Files: Like most web sites log files are generated that show the IP Address of the visitor, date, time, and pages visited. Aggregate reports for web site visitors are generated that do not contain personally identifiable information. Advertising reports are generated that show the IP addresses of visitors who clicked on ads. This information may be sent to an advertiser to confirm the advertising fee charged. The advertiser already has this information as a result of the user clicking on the ad. No additional information about the visitor is supplied to the advertiser. The log files are eventually deleted.

Cookies: Internet 'cookies' are required only to store unique information for securing your connection to our service. We require cookies be used for this purpose. Cookies stored on your system contain no personally identifiable information nor any information about your computer other than a unique key to ensure the security of your connection to our service.

No Third Party Downloads: No Images, files, or cookies are downloaded from third party servers. This means no banner networks, hidden "web bugs" (images of size 1x1 pixel used to track users).

External Linking: The logging of clicks for external links using "redirects" is only done for advertisements. This is indicated by link to a URL such as '/redirect.asp?url= ...' The external URL is clearly marked in the "url=" portion. This is done to create the advertising reports described above in order to bill the advertiser.

Mailing Lists: CheckbookAnywhere may maintain subscription mailing lists. All users must confirm their subscriptions via return e-mail. Users are never added based on requesting information, making a purchase, or forgetting to uncheck some box during ordering.

User Registration: CheckbookAnywhere requires user registration and payment to use our service.

Favicon.ico requests: Some browsers initiate a favicon.ico request to a web site when a user adds a site to their "Favorites" list. (.ico stands for "icon") It is a small 16x16 pixel icon that replaces the standard icon used for a web page. Favicon.ico requests are not tracked.

The restrictions on the dissemination of personal information are not subject to change. The policy is updated occasionally but the changes will not reduce the privacy protection of visitors. If there are changes made in the future the changes will not affect information already collected.
